Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle: Update 7-23-2010
WOW! What a difference 10 days makes...
I am now down to around 195 pounds from where I started at 225 pounds in the beginning of June. I feel fantastic.
I have been able to continue the habit of getting up at 4 AM during the week and going to the gym. It is amazing the amount of stuff you can get done when you get up that early. Not only can I spend more time at the gym but I am getting home well before I used to wake up when I wasn't going to the gyn which has help me from a productivity stand point.
*An interesting side note: as my stomach gets smaller, my income has gotten larger. I am not quite sure how this is happening but I feel a lot better about myself when I am talking with people and I think that this has been working out pretty good.
This week I have had 10 people ask me if I had been losing weight to which I proudly proclaimed, "YES!" Several have asked what I have been doing to get the job done and I just referred them to this site.
Here is a quick list of the things that have really been making a difference this time around with my weight loss and motivation:
1. Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle eBook - This eBook contains some of the greatest information about weight loss that I have read to this point. It also covers in great detail what is needed on the subject of proper mindset which is invaluable.
2. Burn the Fat Inner Circle - This is a community of like minded people whose sole focus is to answer questions that you may have as ou move through your fitness journey. The timeliness of the information is great! Make sure to check it out!
3. Lee Milteer's Habit Busting System - This is by far one of the most important programs that has really made a huge difference in my efforts this time around and here's why - In the past I would get to this point and really start to fall off. I would be happy where I was with the progress and think to myself. "This is easy!" and then I would start to stop all the activity that had gotten me to this point.
But by using this program, I have been changing my habitual thinking about my fitness level and this has been helping stay motivated to continue. I have also uncovered a few habitual thoughts from my past that may have been hindering my efforts in the past.
Here is an example: When I was young, I was very skinny and this was true all the way through high school and for a few years past that. And I was teased about that being called "skinny" all the time and it really bothered me as a kid to hear that. I just rediscovered this by going through Lee Milteer's Habit Busting System.
What an eye opener!
I hope this helps you on your fitness journey!
